Mama's Got The Blues' is a multimedia production by blues guitarist/singer/songwriter Ruth Wyand and filmmaker Jean Antolini.  The show  features a live onstage musical score and narration by Wyand while using film footage designed by Antolini projected on a screen behind Ruth.

In this merging of film and live music Wyand takes the audience on a musical journey into the lives and music of Women who helped shape America's rich Blues and jazz history

Wyand performs songs of Women Blues and Jazz Artists from the early 1900's to the present who have blazed the trail of blues, jazz and rock and roll.  The songs of Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Memphis Minnie, Nina Simone, Billy Holiday up to Bonnie Raitt plus a few others that have been overlooked and forgotten throughout history.
